Smithills Country Park- On the edge of the west Pennine Moors with great views of Bolton. A medieval hall & farm with woodland, lots to discover.- Smithills Country Park,Smithills Dean Rd, Bolton, Lancashire BL1 7NP
Lyme Park- with a stunning mansion which has been the setting used for many films & TV programmes including Pride & prejudice. It’s beautiful park land with Deer . Quarry Bank Mill & Styal Woods – The Mill itself is a national trust museum, it’s an impressive place with plenty of interactive exhibits. Mosi – The Museum of science & industry is with -in 5 minutes walk of Great John Street Hotel.
