On Monday 15th October, a group of fabulous women gave up their bed for the night to support CEO Sleepout, in fighting homelessness and poverty. The evening saw Sally O'Loughlin, interior designer & proprietor of Eclectic Hotel Collection and Jenny Oh, General Manager of King Street Townhouse join other CEOs and Senior level executives across Manchester in taking part in the sleep-out, at Emirates Old Trafford. Other participants of our wonderful team at Eclectic include Emma Baxter, Mari Ford, Michaela Valuchova & Vicky Cruse.
CEO Sleepout responds to the needs of homelessness and poverty in our communities, calling on business leaders to raise awareness and funds to combat inequality. Based across 14 areas in the UK, donations assist a selection of local charities who work tirelessly to provide outreach support, advice and tackle homelessness.
Companywide, we are proud of the team for taking part in the evening and their commitment to raising awareness for such an important cause. Reaching the £2,000 target was a massive accomplishment, but nothing compared to the experience of dedicating themselves to that night and being exposed to living in conditions so different to our own, that so many of us observe and take for granted on a daily basis.
Thank you to all who have supported. Donations are still being accepted, if you'd like to contribute to Team Eclectic's fundraising target, please visit our JustGiving page to make a donation: https://bit.ly/2CmogHC. Any donation large or small could make a difference to someone’s life.
